What is the capacity of your wedding venue?
Our venue can accommodate up to 100 guests, ensuring an intimate and memorable experience for your special day.

Is parking available for guests?
Yes, we have ample parking spaces available on-site for your convenience and that of your guests.
What is the rental fee and what does it include?
The Michaux St. James Wedding venue is very affordable and very easy to work with. We have a one-page rental agreement and we rent you the facilities for the entire weekend for one flat cost of $2,500 (there is also a $500 security deposit you get back within 30 days of your ceremony). Are there any restrictions on catering and alcohol service?
We can recommend vendors for catering and bar services, but we also allow outside vendors. The only thing you need to do is get a one day alcohol license from the VA ABC which costs approximately $100.
Can we schedule a tour of the venue before booking?
Of course! We encourage all couples to schedule a tour of our venue to see our facilities in person and discuss your vision with our team. To schedule a tour please call or text 1-804-466-4266.
Is there a bridal suite or dressing room available for the bridal party?
Yes, we offer a spacious and comfortable bridal suite and grooms suite for you and your bridal party to prepare and relax before the ceremony.
Are there nearby accommodations for out-of-town guests?
There are several hotels and accommodations conveniently located near our venue. We are also only ten minutes from Fine Creek Mills which offer beautiful cottages. We can provide recommendations and assistance if needed.
What is the total cost for to have our wedding there?
To rent out the venue for the weekend of your wedding cost $2,500 (one day rental or partial day is the same rate).
Do you have any restrictions on music and entertainment?
You’re welcome to bring in your own entertainment or live band. We do ask that that the band or dj wrap up before 11 PM.
What is your cancellation policy?
Our cancellation policy is outlined in our contract, which we will provide during the booking process. It includes details about refunds and timelines for cancellations.
Can we schedule a rehearsal at the venue?
Yes, since you will have our venue for your entire wedding weekend it is easy to leverage our beautiful facilities for rehearsal dinners, wedding rehearsals, wedding ceremony and reception just the way you want everything to go for your magical wedding weekend.
